A new campaign, which aims to help the impoverished kids the favelas of Rio de Janeiro, by asking women to donate their old lingerie.
The 'Bra Bank campaign' has asked women to drop off their bras at 17 of Eclectic Bars' clubs and bars venues across the country, including Lola Lo, Po Na Na and Fez, the Daily Star reported.
Bra Bank will accept lingerie in any condition, which will be recycled raising 1 pound per kilo and donations will be accepted for four weeks from now until July 14.
Cash raised goes to 'Little Learners', an education project run by charity, the Flamingo Foundation, which provides teachers to help children living in Parada de Lucas, one of Rio's poorest slums.
Neuza Nascimento, who runs Little Learners, said that Little Learners gives youngsters the opportunity to get an education, which they believe is the best route out of poverty and away from the gangs.
Nascimento added that they aim to develop and stimulate the abilities of these kids who are exposed to the risk of social violence through activities involving culture, leisure and citizenship.

Cristiano Ronaldo confessed that he would never get his skin inked as he wanted to continue donating blood.
The 29-year-old Portugal footie ace, who reportedly gives blood twice a year, doesn't feel the need to get a tattoo, as in many countries, people with new tattoos can cause risks of cross-contamination and hepatitis while donating blood.
The Real Madrid star, who had also started donating bone marrow, said that he started the noble act when he learned about his teammate Carlos Martins's son's suffering, News.com.au reported.
Ronaldo added that donating bone marrow was almost like drawing blood, and he would gladly do it again as he understands the seriousness of the disease.

The Manchester United star asserted that girls in Croatia were beautiful, but they were too tall for Spanish guys, the Daily Express reported.
