"I didn't like the Mexican goalie," Brazil coach Luiz Felipe Scolari joked to reporters.
"He did very well, he was spectacular. The defences he did were spectacular. Calm, tranquil, he knows how to play, is well positioned.
"I think he really was the best player in the match and Mexico has a very good quality team."
Scolari praised Guillermo Ochoa, describing his performance as spectacular.

"I believe this was the best match of my life because this was a World Cup game and this is very important," said Ochoa.
Goalkeeper Guillermo Ochoa was the toast of Mexico after frustrating Brazil's much-vaunted attack with an outstanding display in a 0-0 draw in World Cup Group A on Tuesday.

"I don't know whether I can think of another goalkeeper in memory...someone who has done what Memo (Ochoa) did today," Mexico coach Miguel Herrera said.

"People can make mistakes, I think it is logical it can happen for a goalkeeper to make a mistake. Today it is fine because we were able to make it up in the end. I accept the mistake made by the great goalkeeper Akinfeev."
Russia coach Fabio Capello's main task will be to rebuild veteran goalkeeper Akinfeev's confidence before they face Belgium on June 22. The Italian was quick to back his keeper at the post-match news conference.

"It's a major disappointment," he said. "I have a number of players that are rather limited, they're young, they're not that experienced, they can't play 90 minutes.
"Each Algerian player needs to improve his physical condition by 30 to 50 percent. The Belgian players are in much better shape."
