WAGS corner: Alex Gerrard upset over hubby's World Cup ban

Hot wife of English footballer Steven Gerrard, Alex, is terribly upset that Coleen Rooney will be flying to Rio to support husband Wayne Rooney while she will stay put because of husband’s ban.

England football captain Gerrard has banned his hot and sexy wife Alex Curran from going with the team to the FIFA World Cup in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

The Liverpool legend has reportedly tagged players’ wives and girlfriends (WAGS) 'a distraction'.

According to an insider, the 31-year-old beauty loves going on tour with the team and is bummed that she can't go, especially this time as she would have been the queen of the WAGs with the 33-year-old footballer.

The mother-of-threewhined recently saying that though she would be bored stiff without her hubby, she won't be going as their kids' too would have their school going on.

However, Gerrard was quick to say he supports 'homesick' teammates who want their partners to travel along,  adding that it is a personal decision of the players if they want their families over there.
