F1 superstar Michael Schumacher's family relieved

Michael Schumacher's family is now in a 'more positive state of mind' as he is now out of coma and his condition is getting better.

Rumours say that Schumacher is unable to walk and talk but he is able to communicate through his eyes. His wife and two children are reportedly encouraged by his progress and are hopeful of a complete recovery.

The former Formula One star is currently in the Service of Neurology department at the University hospital of Lausanne but he is soon expected to move, the Mirror reported.

Schumacher suffered serious brain injuries after hitting his head on a rock when skiing off-piste in the exclusive French resort of Meribel on December 29. He was in coma since then but regained consciousness on June 16.

The German, who won a record 91 Grand Prix victories and left motor racing in 2013 after a disappointing three-year comeback.

Schumacher's family thanked people who had sent messages of support, saying that they are sure their wishes helped the world champion to recover.

The family also praised the medical staff at the hospital in Grenoble for doing an 'excellent job'.
