Singer Rihanna eyeing Liverpool takeover?

Singer Rihanna, who was spotted in Brazil celebrating Germany's World Cup victory over Argentina, is taking her interest in football quite seriously.

If media reports are to be believed, she is looking at investing in an English Premier League club.

Spanish news provider Mundo Deportivo claims that the club could very well be Liverpool, who finished runners-up last season.

Reports in the British media claimed that the singer wants to set up her own footballing academy in Barbados before branching into football ownership. The singer, it is learned, is fancying a jump into the English game.
