Sportstars send congratulatory messages to Manchester United on winning their 20th English Premier League title.
Ex-Tottenham striker Gary Lineker was one of the many to congratulate the victorious team and tweeted, "Congratulations to Manchester United. Overwhelming, convincing and worthy Premier League champions."

Tottenham winger Gareth Bale tweeted, "Congrats to Man United on winning the title!"

Robin van Persie, United's number 20, was the man who brought their 20th top-flight crown.
The Red Devils man of the moment was soon flooded with more messages on Twitter.
Queens Park Rangers defender Anton Ferdinand was in awe of Robin van Persie who scored a first-half hat-trick for United. Ferdinand tweeted, "Oh my RVP #tekkas"
Newcastle defender Danny Simpson also joined the gang to praise Van Persie and tweeted, "#RvP ain't messing about tonight."

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger said it best on Twitter, "Do we congratulate Manchester United on winning the title? No. We did that in August."
Indian cricket star Yuvraj Singh also tweeted, "Are we champions tonight go van persie go Manchester United !! What a season winning the epl convincingly congratulations to all Man U fans."
World No 2 golfer and United fan Rory Mcilroy kept his wishes brief, "#20 #enoughsaid"

Legendary United goalkeeper Edwin van der Sar tweeted his thoughts: "Congratulations to every player, manager, coaches, staff and of course the supporters for an incredible year! #Manutd #20th"
Former Red Devils striker Ruud van Nistelrooy was pleased for his former club, "#M.U.F.C 20th league title! Congrats to the big red family. #RvP!"
And finally, the jubilant United centre-half Rio Ferdinand found some time out after wild celebrations and tweeted, "Oh yes it's 20!!!!! Thanks for all the support!"
