Indian shooter Prakash Nanjappa was a class above the rest but had to settle for a silver medal in the 10m air pistol at the 2014 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow on Saturday.
He achieved the feat with 198.2 points.
Daniel Repacholi of Australia won gold 199.5 points while England's Stewart Nangle finished third.

The Bangalore lad was tied at first position after 10 shots with 100.9 points but slipped to third position after 12 shots with 118.6 points.
Nanjappa held his nerve and jumped to second position after 14 shots with 138 points.
Nanjappa started with 10.7 in 10m air pistol final.

Nanjappa had topped the qualification round.
He shot a series of 97, 96, 95, 99, 97, 96 to top the round with 580 points and make the final.
