The Dutch striker who helped his team beat Olympiakos Piraeus 3-0 to overturn a 2-0 first-leg deficit to reach the quarter-finals is down with an apparent leg injury.
The Dutchman had three minutes of treatment on the pitch but was eventually taken off, to be replaced by Marouane Fellaini. But manager David Moyes insisted the injury is not as serious as first feared.
Moyes said the striker took a knock behind the knee but was ‘hopeful it was not too bad’.
