Some 100 divers from six countries took part in the freestyle sport event that was staged in a public swimming pool in Berlin. Contestants were judged by the jump's degree of difficulty and the volume of splashing water.

Green-Tregaro, who painted her fingernails in the colours of the rainbow flag in support of Russia's gay community, was told not to repeat the gesture in Saturday's world championship final. Green-Tregaro had her fingernails painted red when competing in the women's high jump final on Saturday.
