April 22, 2008 17:51 IST

Rajiv Tomar became the third Indian grappler to qualify for the Beijing Olympics during a qualification tournament in Martigny, Switzerland.

The Indian won silver in the 120 kg freestyle category in the event, held from April 18 to 20, and joined two other compatriots in the quadrennial mega extravaganza, a Wrestling Federation of India statement said.

Sushil Kumar (66 kg freestyle) and Yogeshwar Dutt (60 kg freestyle) are the other two to have qualified for the Olympics.

While Sushil had booked a ticket for Beijing in the World championship in Baku (Azerbaijan) in September 2007, Dutt made the cut in the Asian Championship in Jeju City, South Korea, last month.
