Usain Bolt won his third gold medal of the 14th IAAF World Championships on Sunday when he led Jamaica to the gold in the 4 x100 metres relay.
The Jamaicans won in 37.37 secs, a world leading time.
The quartet of Nesta Carter, Kemar Bailey-Cole, Nickel Ashmeade and Bolt, all finalists in the 100 meters, were comfortable winners.
The United States, with former world champion Justin Gatlin in the ranks, finished second in 37.66.
Great Britain won the bronze in 37.80.
It was the fourth instance when Bolt had completed the 'treble' of 100, 200 and the relay - after the 2008 and 2012 Olympics and the 2009 World Championships in Berlin.
The multiple world champions began the day aiming to add a third gold to his Moscow tally in the men's 4x100 relay.
He did precisely that.
The Jamaican was untouchable on the blue track at the Luzhniki stadium, winning the 100 last weekend and then becoming the first man to take three successive 200 metres titles on Saturday.
In completing his treble, Bolt joined American trio of Allyson Felix, Carl Lewis and Michael Johnson with eight world titles.
Earlier, Jamaica's double world champion Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce led her team from the front in the women's relay ahead of Olympic champions the U.S.
The Americans started sans Allyson Felix and were no match for the Jamaicans.
