Italian Giuseppe Guerini clinched his second Tour de France win when he claimed the 19th stage over 153.5 kilometres from Issoire to Le Puy-en-Velay on Friday.
Guerini, a winner at l'Alpe d'Huez in 1999, beat second-placed Frenchman Sandy Casar and Italian Franco Pellizotti, who came home third.
The T-Mobile rider had won the stage despite being brought down when a fan tried to take a picture of him during the last part of the alpine climb.
Six-times Tour winner Lance Armstrong retained the overall leader's yellow jersey when he came home safely in the main pack.
