India Test captain Virat Kohli was named 'Cricketer of the Year' by the Board of Control for Cricket in India's annual honours.
The 27-year-old batsman, who took over as captain in the middle of the tour of Australia after Mahendra Singh Dhoni's sudden retirement, delivered some good results under his leadership.
The star tweeted, “On the last day of 2015, feeling grateful and wishing the best for everyone in the new year. #Happy2016.”
