Right after the Indian women’s hockey team defeated Australia in their Tokyo Olympics semi-final on Monday, head coach Sjoerd Marijne posted a sweet picture of him with his players in the background.
"Sorry family, I coming again later (sic)," tweeted Marijne alongside a photo with the entire hockey squad.
And among a bazillion hockey fans replying to the tweet, one Shah Rukh Khan also joined in.
The actor, who played Kabir Khan, a hockey coach in the 2007 movie ‘Chak de India’ replied: ‘Haan haan no problem. Just bring some Gold on your way back….for a billion family members. This time Dhanteras is also on 2nd Nov. From: Ex-coach Kabir Khan.’
The cheeky exchange continued with Marijne replying to SRK’s tweet: Thank you for all the support and love. We will give everything again. From: The Real Coach.’
India will next take on Argentina in the semi-finals on Wednesday.
