Victoria Beckham has admitted that she knew she was a laughing stock while she was building her fashion empire.
The mother-of-four told The Business of Fashion magazine that while everybody was laughing at her, she was busy laying the foundation to what she has in place now, the Mirror reported.
The fashion designer asserted that everybody believed that her fashion business would never work because a celeb can't do a line, but because everyone thought it was going to be rubbish it took the pressure off a little bit.
The wife of retired footballer David Beckham added that there were no expectations and she didn't expect it to be any other way because she didn't go into this to prove anything to anybody other than herself.
