Olympian Alpine skier Lindsey Vonn, who recently got a knee surgery, ditched her crutches to make a splash at New York Fashion Week.
The most accomplished skier in US history dressed herself in a red gown, which she complimented with a low kitten heels, People magazine reported.
Vonn, earlier, has credited her mother Lindy Lund and beau Tiger Woods for helping her cope with the fact that she will not be able to compete in 2014's Sochi Olympics as she's recovering from a recent knee surgery.
The Olympic gold medalist asserted that her mom's support has meant a lot to her and her toughness and positivity have always helped her get through challenges, especially her injuries.
The blonde beauty asserted that her mum always sees the positives in everything and always says, "There's always tomorrow and there's always another race."
Vonn added that her golfing legend boyfriend has also helped her beat her Olympics blues as he continuously reminds her to be patient that everything is going to be fine.
Vonn added that she really appreciates all the support he has given her and it makes a big difference.
David Beckham, who is a style icon in his own right, has confessed that fashion designer wife Victoria Beckham still advises him on what to wear.
When the retired footballer was asked at the launch of his US football team in Miami if his sharp suit was chosen by Victoria, David said that he dresses himself, but he trusts her opinion on his style, the Mirror reported.
So if she says he looks bad, he is not going to argue with that, the father-of-four asserted.
Asked if he often gets a dressing down, he replied saying not often, but every now and again.
