Hot-headed Maradona at it again, this time accused of kicking photographer in groin

Diego Maradona loses cool again. This time the Argentine football great has been accused by a celebrity magazine photographer of kicking him in the groin.

The photographer has reportedly filed a police complaint against Maradona.

According to reports, photographer Enrique Medina was attacked on Sunday night when he was waiting to click the 1986 World Cup winner. The assault took place outside Maradona’s father’s house.

Claiming that Maradona ran at him ''like he was taking a free kick'', Medina alleged that the former footballer had kicked him so hard in the groin and upper leg area that he ''doubled over in pain''.

The paparazzo also added that Maradona seemed angry and out of his mind as if something had happened in his father's house.

Medina also alleged that Maradona's kick was not the kick of an ordinary person and was the kick of someone, who is used to kicking.

Reports further claim that, Maradona, who is a global sports ambassador for Dubai, had often complained that the media follows him too closely.

In 1994 he had fired an air gun at reporters in Buenos Aires, for which he was given a suspended sentence. His anger at the media was apparent even as recently as in the month of May, when Maradona pelted stones at cameramen following him from the airport.
