Nothing can make a footballer go crazy than winning the biggest prize on offer.

So, after Germany beat Argetina to win the FIFA World Cup on Sunday, Germany's forward Lucas Podolski went on a selfie spree after the West Europeans won their first World Cup win in 24 years.

Going by Podolski's Twitter handle, his 'partner in crime' was teammate Bastian Schweinsteiger.

First, the two held the 18 carat-heavy World Cup trophy and posed with pop singer Rihanna.

They then partied the night away with Schweinsteiger taking the revelry a step further by planting a kiss on Rihanna's cheek, just for the camera!

Before bumping into Rihanna at their victory party the duo of Podolski and Schweinsteiger indulged in some 'bromance'.

Podolski took a selfie of Schweinsteiger planting a kiss on Podolski and the latter looks like one a happy-chappy in receiving the peck!

Celebrations can sometimes know no boundaries!

A thumbs up to this crazy selfie, we say!
