All the teams are sending their biggest ever contingents to the soccer World Cup in Brazil. Hence, a leading global travel search site has recommended 10 places one must visit during the quadrennial sporting extravaganza.
The website has prepared the list as tourists pack their bags for the trip to the country of powdery white-sand beaches, pristine rain forests and wild, rhythm-filled metropolises.
More than 2,500 Indians, including fans and journalists, are expected to make the trip to Brazil for perhaps the most anticipated sporting event on this year's calendar.
The list also includes hidden sights, shops and bars of Rio de Janeiro, the city which is the birthplace of world-renowned footballers like Zico, Ronaldo and Romario.

Apart from the world famous Christ the Redeemer statue, it recommends places such as Rio Scenarium, Delirio Tropical, Bar Urca, Gilson Martin and Palaphita Kitsch among others.
To get in the real spirit of Brazilian music, it has to be live, and the place is Rio Scenarium, which is full of happy people dancing to samba.
