World Cup sidelights: It's love all when Agassi and Graf watch football
The United States of America is a multicultural society. So, when U.S.A. played Germany on Thursday in their final group match at the World Cup in Brazil, there were bound to be split loyalties in many households.
It was no different in the home of the Agassis.
Legendary tennis couple Steffi Graf and husband Andre Agassi watched as Germany and U.S.A. played their Group G tie which the Germans won 1-0.
"Everybody's happy :) #WorldCup", Steffi Graf posted on her Facebook page after the match.
The Americans advanced to the last 16 after Portugal beat Ghana 2-1 in the other match in the group on Thursday.
Germany, who topped the group will face Algeria, Group H’s runner-up, while the United States finished second and will face Group H's winner Belguim.

Twitter fans raged with #ThingsSuarezCantDo in the wake of the Uruguayan forward getting a four month ban, a suspension which stretches to 'any kind of football-related activity'.
Twitter users have been quick to jump on the particular wording of FIFA's statement, which comes nearly 2 days after the incident between Uruguay and Italy at the World Cup, the Metro reported.
Making it all comic, Twitter users hyped the 'football-related activity' part, and mentioned activities which are somehow related to football.
A fan posted that Suarez can't kick a balloon at a party'. As kicking is a football-related activity.
Meanwhile, another posted that Suarez can't read the sports section of the newspaper.

Belgian PM offers Obama beer bet over World Cup clash
Belgian Prime Minister Elio Di Rupo challenged U.S. President Barack Obama to a bet over Belgium's impending World Cup knock-out match against the United States, offering the prospect of some "great Belgian beers" should the U.S. team win.
On Thursday, Belgium beat South Korea 1-0 to top Group H, setting up a clash with the United States after Juergen Klinsmann's team pipped Portugal to second place in Group G on goal difference despite losing to Germany.
"Hey @BarackObama, I am betting some great Belgian beers that our @BelRedDevils will make it to the quarter final!" Di Rupo tweeted in the early hours of Friday.
As of Friday morning, the U.S. President had not replied to the challenge.
He may be well advised to abstain from such a bet, as Belgium are the bookies favourites going in to last 16 match on Tuesday.
Obama should also be warned that a large number of Belgian beers have a very high alcohol content. It was not clear precisely what beers Di Rupo was offering in the bet.
