In case anybody had not quite got the message yet, Manchester United players firmly reiterate the English champions would not be selling Wayne Rooney.

Rival club Chelsea had  made a straight-cash bid for Rooney as he was 'angry and confused' after Moyes, who replaced Alex Ferguson at the end of last season, suggested last weekend he would be second choice behind Dutchman Robin van Persie next season.

Amid this transfer confusion, wife, Coleen Rooney is pleading hubby Wayne not to move abroad.

Man United, who rejected a 20 million-pound bid from Chelsea, have said that if they sell the England striker, it would only be to a club abroad, making PSG the most likely destination, the Sun reported.

A source told the publication that it's causing the couple quite a bit of stress.

The insider asserted that Wayne's first choice is Chelsea because a move south means they are still only a few hours' drive from Liverpool where both their sets of parents live.

The source said that Coleen doesn't really want to move to Paris so Wayne would either have to commute to the city by private jet from their home in Cheshire, or go and live alone in a hotel.

Meanwhile, if the star, who earns 250,000 pounds a week, is forced to submit a formal transfer request, he will lose millions in loyalty payments.
