Olympic cycling champion Victoria Pendleton has revealed that she is not ready to become a mother for now.
The 32-year-old British athlete is all set to marry Aussie cycling coach Scott Gardner.
She told new! Magazine that she doesn't feel old enough to have kids, the Daily Express reported.
Nicknamed Queen Victoria by Team GB fans, Victoria is enjoying riding a bike more after her retirement from the sport, than when she was competing professionally.
Pendleton, who bagged a gold and silver medal at the London Games before retiring to focus on her nuptials, asserted that she is still enjoying the freedom from her arduous training regime and isn't keen on a new life structured around smelly nappies and broken sleep.
The Guardian quoted Pendleton as saying that she had lost the fun of cycling in the competitive spirit.
The retired cycling ace is on a mission to make more women cycle, believing that it is the element of competition that deters women from entering sports.
