Singapore Slammers to meet Indian Aces in IPTL final

Singapore Slammers beat Indian Aces 27-21 in what turned out to be a dress rehearsal for the final of the International Premier Tennis League (IPTL), which the two teams will be vying for $1 million prize money.

Aces' player coach Fabrice Santoro lost 2-6 to Carlos Moya in the veteran's singles.

Stanislas Wawrinka defeated Bernard Tomic 6-5 in the men's singles while Belinda Bencic defeated Svetlana Kuznetsova 6-2 in the women's singles.

Rohan Bopanna and Sania Mirza beat Dustin Brown and Karolina Pliskova 6-4 while Ivan Dodig and Rohan Bopanna won their men's doubles set 6-5.

Slammers captain Moya said: "All the matches are very important. Since every game counts, there is not a priority. We want to try and win all of them."
