Juventus winger Milos Krasic returned from injury and suspension to again be the driving force in a 2-0 win at Genoa on Sunday.
The visitors, who moved up to third in Serie A before the later matches, took a fortunate lead when Claudio Marchisio's deflected shot cannoned in off the post and the back of Portugal goalkeeper Eduardo.
Krasic, signed in the close season and fast becoming a fan favourite due to his resemblance to former Juve hero Pavel Nedved, made it 2-0 on 23 minutes when Eduardo could have done better to stop the Serbian's shot following a weaving run.
Genoa hit the bar and Luca Toni was booked for palming the ball into the net as new coach Davide Ballardini suffered his first defeat after two wins in his first two games in charge.
