Defending champions Bengal on Friday beat Railways by a solitary goal to set up a summit clash against Manipur in the Santosh Trophy football tournament in Guwahati.
In the second semi-final played under floodlights at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, Bengal striker Budhiram Tudu struck in the 39th minute to ensure his team's entry into the final.
Tudu collected a measured cross from the right flank by Snehasish Dutta and scored from close range through a right footer.
The Railway team came close to scoring on a couple of occasions but good defending by Bengal thwarted their attempts.
Bengal, who have won the Santosh Trophy 30 times earlier, will take on Manipur in the final on May 30.
