Sania-Yaroslava in semis of Citi Open

The top seeded pair of Sania Mirza and Yaroslava Shvedova stormed into the doubles semi-finals in the US $220,000 Citi Open, beating Lindsay

Lee-Waters and Megan Moulton-Levy in straight sets, at College Park, United States, on Friday.

The Indo-Kazakh pair won 6-3, 6-4.

Sania, returning to action after a three-week break, lost in the singles first round to Canadian Stephanie Dubois 5-7, 4-6.
