India’s Rohan Bopanna and his Romanian partner Florin Mergea reached the semi-finals of the ATP World Tour Finals with a straight sets win at London's O2 Arena on Tuesday.

The eighth-ranked side beat fourth-ranked pair Jamie Murray of Great Britain and Australia's John Peers 6-3, 7-6 (7/5), to secure a semi-finals spot.

Bopanna and his Romanian partner beat reigning champions, USA Bryan twins -- Bob and Mike -- in their opening group game on Sunday.

The Indo-Romanian duo next takes on Italian combination of Simone Bolelli and Fabio Fognini before the semis.
