London Olympics medallist Yogeshwar Dutt, got engaged to Sheetal Sharma in a private ceremony in Sonipat.
Sheetal is the daughter of Jai Bhagwan Sharma, a Congress leader.
The wrestler returned home from Rio Olympics without making much of an impact, bowing out at the first hurdle did surprise a few with the news.
The couple will tie the knot in Delhi on January 16 next year.
