They may have had a poor outing in the inaugural season of the Indian Super League, but ask Delhi Dynamos’ manager-cum-player and he would tell you that he is here to win the trophy for the team.

The tournament, which kicks off on October 3, already has the Brazilian focused on the job and says he doesn’t feel the pressure of being a big match player.

"There is no pressure on me here in Delhi Dynamos and me doing the best for the team is what I call an obligation, something I tried doing my entire life," Carlos at a media interaction.

The Real Madrid legend, in an event announcing the signing of Brazillian midfielder Vinicius Frreira de Souza, said that he sees great talent in his team, be it the home players or foreign imports.

"I am getting to know the Indian players and they are really good. It's just that the mentality to play for win that I would like to instill into them. Because for me playing s winning.

"I would like them to play offensive. For me this is how football should be played. People don't come to see a game where the teams play for a tie," said the seemingly excited Carlos.

When quizzed about whether he will pick and choose as to which games to play, the 42-year-old said, “If I get to play all the games, then I will play all. Of course, I won't be playing a full game. It will be for few minutes only.

"I think I'll probably join them in the field when they are winning and go out when the situation is opposite." quipped the footballer.

Delhi Dynamos play their first match against FC Goa on October 4, 2015.
