Promising shuttler Arundhati Pantawane's brilliant run at the Czech International Open came to an end after she went down in straight-games to fourth seed Kristina Gavnholt in the finals.
Unseeded Pantawane suffered a 10-21, 18-21 defeat against local player Kristina in a 40-minute women's singles match to finish runners-up.
Pantawane, who emerged a surprise runner-up at this year's National championships that was held at Rohtak, squandered a 5-1 lead to allow Kristina walk away with the first game.
In the second game, Pantawane once again opened with a 2-0 lead but soon Kristina moved to 7-3 and although the Indian caught up with her at 16-16, the Czech zoomed her way to pocket the game and the title.
