Mumbai Schools Sports Association qualified for the India finals of the Nike-Manchester United Premier Cup (MUPC) under-15 football Tournament.
Joining the Mumbai lads in the India finals, scheduled to be held in Goa from December 1, are Viva Kerala, Salgaocar SC and Sporting Clube de Goa.
In the South and West Zone qualifiers played at the Nehru Stadium in Goa on Friday, the Mumbai lads went down fighting to Viva Kerala by a solitary goal, scored by Jinu in the 37th minute, but despite the defeat made the grade .
In the other match, Salgaocar put it across Sporting Clube de Goa 2-0, with Sheldon Rodricks and Nixon Fernandes finding the target
