Mumbai boy Keegan Pereira to play for Canada in hockey WC

Mumbai boy Keegan Pereira, who studied in a school in the northern suburb of Bandra before migrating to Canada with his parents, will represent his adopted country in the Hero Honda FIH World Cup Hockey tournament, commencing in Delhi later this month.

Keegan, 18, is the son of former Mahindra and Mumbai hockey left-winger Reginald (Reggie) Pereira, now settled in Scarborough, Ontario.

Keegan, who studied in St Stanislaus school, Bandra, in his formative years, has already represented Canada in five hockey internationals as a forward.
