Mumbai Football Club (MFC) wants to put behind their two losses and vows to snatch a point against defending champion Churchill Bros when they meet them at Nehru stadium, Margao in the third round of the I-League on Friday.

Mumabi Football Club looks depleted after their lost some of their key players in the season tranfers, lost both their opening matches against Dempo and Chirag United but their coach Khalid Jamil is unperturbed about the setback.

"Its initial stage and our boys are learning from their mistakes. We had plenty of chances to score against Chirag United but our boys failed to take advantage which led to our defeat," stated Jamil.

"Churchill Bros is a formidable side and are in form having won two titles so far in this season (IFA shield and Durand cup) and we need to play to our potential to over come them. Our aim is to collect a point and would be satisfied if we do that since it is and away match," stated Jamil.

"Odafe absence will be a big relief to us as he is a dangerous players who can score goals at will when left unattented," Jamil said.

On the other hand, Churchill will be missing their prolific goal poacher Odafe Okalie and red card in the last match against Viva Kerala. But the good news is that their keeper Arindam is back in action after one match.

Churchill Bros coach Carlos Pereira said that they have enough bench strength to replace them and are looking to keep the winning momentum going.
