India under-18 girls drub Sri Lanka 13-0 in Asia Cup hockey

It rained goals as India mauled Sri Lanka 13-0 in a lop-sided match of the 3rd Girls Under-18 Asia Cup hockey at Bangkok on Saturday.

Jaspreet Kaur (2nd min), Neha Goyal (13th, 22nd), Poonam Rani (14th, 34th), Sandeep Kaur (19th), Anupa Barla (33rd, 65th), Namita Toppo (37th), Navjot Kaur (42nd, 55th) and Lilima Minz (54th, 70th) were the goal scorer for India.

India, who led 7-0 at half time, earned 14 penalty corners and converted five through Jaspreet, Sandeep, Neha, Namita and Navjot.

India had beaten Kazakhstan 12-0 in their tournament opener on Friday.

They will now play South Korea on Tuesday.
