Hyderabad will host the World Table Tennis Championship scheduled in 2013, TTFI general secretary Dhanraj Choudhary said on Sunday.
Choudhary added that Hyderabad will also host the National Ranking Championship this year but the dates are yet to be finalised.
He also revealed that the names of the probables for the 2012 London Olympics have been finalised.
Choudhary said that K Spurti of Vijayawada was selected to participate in Junior US Open TT Championship, which will be held at the end of this month and Naina of Hyderabad was selected for Under -12 world Hope Championship to be held in Austria.
TTFI also revealed plans of setting up an academy.
