Four players tested positive at Kabaddi World Cup

The organizing committee of second World Cup Kabaddi on Sunday temporarily suspended four players who were tested positive for banned drugs by National Anti Doping Agency laboratory.

Disclosing this in Chandigarh, Pargat Singh, the Organizing Secretary of the World Cup Kabaddi said that out of the 12 samples taken at Faridkot of Pool A teams, four were found positive in A-Test.

He said that out of these four players two were from Australia while one each from Germany and Canada. He said that these players have been temporarily suspended and barred from playing future matches. He reiterated the Organizing Committee's commitment to ensure dope free World Cup Kabaddi.
