February 19, 2011 22:38 IST

Everton knocked holders Chelsea out of the FA Cup when they won their fourth-round replay 4-3 on penalties after a 1-1 draw at Stamford Bridge on Saturday.

With the shootout scores at 3-3, Ashley Cole missed his penalty for Chelsea and Everton captain Phil Neville sealed the victory by scoring with his kick.

An extra-time goal from Frank Lampard looked like giving Chelsea a 1-0 win to keep them on course to become the first club for 125 years to win the FA Cup three times in succession.
