Arsenal goalkeeper Petr Cech believes that the Gunners need to stop silly losses against the teams they are expected to beat if they want to progress in the Premier League.

Despite making a second-place finish in the last campaign, Cech said there is still a room for improvement.

Although the 34-year-old admitted that his side made one of the best finishes last season, he observed that they had dropped some really crucial points in the matches, where they were considered favourites, Sport24 reported.

Expressing his views on the changes he had seen in the English top-flight, Cech insisted the Premier League is becoming more competitive with each passing year.

Earlier, Arsenal made a slow start to this year Premier League season as they suffered a 3-4 defeat at the hands of Liverpool before settling with goalless draw against reigning champions LeicesterCity.

Arsenal will now lock horns against Watford on Saturday, August 27.
