Moyes to make 30 million pounds raid for Koke in Jan transfer

Manchester United will reportedly make a whopping 30 million pounds raid for Atletico Madrid midfielder Koke as soon as the transfer window opens in January in the New Year.

Manchester United manager David Moyes made two personal checks on the young Spaniard, and was so impressed that he has sanctioned a massive bid to land the attacking midfielder on January 1

According to the Mirror, Koke has hit the headlines with some impressive performances for Atletico this season, and has been so impressive he has forced his way into the all-star national team line up.

The report mentioned that Koke was one of the main stars in the Spain side that won the European Under-21 Championships last summer which instantly elevated him into the senior squad, with boss Vicente Del Bosque calling him up for the World Cup qualifying campaign.

The report further said that Moyes is keen to jump the queue of top clubs like Bayern Munich, Arsenal and Liverpool, which are interested in the youngster, by refusing to wait until the summer to make his move as he is desperate to get a box to box midfielder to replace Paul Scholes, with Marouane Fellaini out for two months.

Koke was available at a cut-price release clause fee of less than 17 million pounds last summer, but he signed a new deal that upped the get out written into his contract to 35 million Euros, the report added.
