Divij Sharan and Purav Raja shocked top seeded Colombians Juan Sebastian Cabal and Robert Farah to breeze into the summit clash of the ATP Claro Open, in Bogota, Colombia.
Playing their first ever ATP Tour level tournament, the fourth seeded Indian duo beat the local favourites 6-2, 6-3 in just 50 minutes in the semifinals of the $638,085 hard court event.
The Indians outplayed their rivals as they faced only one breakpoint in the contest and saved the lone chance apart from breaking their rivals thrice.
Overall, the Indians won 56 points to 35 of their rivals
They will now fight it out with second seeds Edouard Roger-Vasselin of France and Igor Sijsling of the Netherlands in the final.
