Richard Gadze, one of the brightest prospects from Ghana, has been signed up by Delhi Dynamos for the upcoming second season of Indian Super League football.
Gadze is one of the youngest players in the squad but comes on board with plenty of first team experience with Cape Coast Mysterious Dwarfs.
The striker was prolific for the Dwarfs last season and was instrumental in their promotion to the first division. Following his performances, he was given a call-up to the Ghanian u23 squad. Gadze was previously a part of the Ghanian squad which won the Wafu Cup in 2013.
Commenting on his signing with Delhi Dynamos, Gadze said, "There were a lot of clubs interested in me but the project and vision of Delhi Dynamos appealed a lot to me and then it was a very easy decision to make."
"I am very excited and looking forward to this new experience in my career. To work with some of the biggest names in football like Roberto Carlos, Florent Malouda and John Arne Riise is a dream come true for me," added Gadze.
Delhi Dynamos gaffer Roberto Carlos said, "Gadze is a gifted footballer with good technique, pace, strength and finishing. I am sure he will play an important role for us this season."
On the latest signing, Dynamos President Prashant Agarwal said, "I am very happy to bring him on board. He is a young player and our strategy was to have a fine balance of young and experienced players. With his pace and skills, it will be very exciting to see what he brings to the table. Combination of Gadze, Adil and Dos Santos will be magical on the field."
