Champions Trophy finger gesture: Pak hockey coach alleges 'victimisation'

Pakistan hockey chief coach Shahnaz Shaikh has claimed that there was a conspiracy plotted against his team following the suspension of Mohammad Tousiq and Amjad Ali meted out in the recently held Champions Trophy in Bhubaneswar.

Alleging the incident as a case of victimisation, he said that the incident had naturally affected their game in the final against the Germany.

Earlier, Shahnaz rendered an official apology to International Hockey Federation (FIH) and Hockey India for the obscene gestures made by their players after their win against India in the semi-final of the FIH Men's Champions Trophy 2014.
