Bollywood stars celebrate Sania Mirza's Wimbledon victory

Indian tennis star Sania Mirza and her Swiss partner Martina Hingis lifted the Wimbledon women's doubles trophy in London on Saturday.

Sania, the first India to clinch the title, and Hingis were seeded top but were pushed to the brink by second-seeded Russians Ekaterina Makarova and Elena Vesnina before prevailing 5-7, 7-6(4), 7-5 in a thrilling final on Saturday.

Bollywood fraternity is celebrating Sania Mirza's Wimbledon win as the celebs have flooded Twitter with their wishes.

Shah Rukh Khan tweeted, "And happiness by Sania Mirza and Hingis. Well done well deserved, well played. Love to you."

Congratulating the 28-year-old tennis star, Tisca Chopra tweeted, "Attagirl Sania… So proud of you Sania Mirza for winning at the Wimbledon."

Actor Rishi Kapoor tweeted, "Congratulations Sania Mirza and Martina Hingis for winning the Ladies doubles at Wimbledon! Way to go!"

Several other celebs like Chetan Bhagat, Anupam Kher, Arjun Kapoor, Harbhajan Shingh and Huma Qureshi also tweeted to wish the champion.
