It is not only the Indian cricket team that is catching everyone's attention in Australia. A trio of young bikers have also embarked on a trip Down Under with a mission to announce the arrival of the global Indian youth traveller who wants to discover the world after discovering his own backyard.

The Great Australian Roadtrip, is an effort by an Indian biking club, which will see three Indians, travel around Australia in 80 days and 20,000kms on two bikes and a van meeting up with people of all nationalities.

The trip, which was flagged off from Melbourne Federation Square last month will end back in Melbourne in January next year after covering the east coast, through the central Australian outback through to the west coast leading the way to the southern coastline featuring The Great Ocean Road.

Sundeep Gajjar, Kulpreet Singh and Aditya Pande are the three riders hoping to celebrate the spirit of travel, discovery and to enjoy the risks, rewards and vistas of riding by road.

Using the Hyosung GT650s bikes, 77Bhp, the riders would be riding through extremely contrasting weather conditions.

The trip aims to connect the Indian youth traveler to Australia by showcasing Australia to Indians and vice versa.
