It was a week of comebacks and failures as headlines were full of surprises with Spain's 'King of Clay' Rafael Nadal won his first big title in two years' time.
Also English club Liverpool fought back from a hopeless position to edge Dortmund in their Europa League quarter-final match.
But FC Barcelona's form continued to dip. After a mid-week defeat at the hands of Atletico Madrid, and a consequent exit from the UEFA Champions League, the defending Spanish football champs ended the week with a shocking loss to Valencia on Sunday.
