Australian Open: Paes-Stepaenk clinch men's doubles title

Leander Paes of India and his Czech partner Radek Stepanek stunned American pair of Bob and Mike Bryan to clinch the Australian Open men's doubles trophy.

Paes and StepanekPaes and Stepanek were unseeded. They beat the top seeds 7-6 (1), 6-2 at the Melbourne Park on Saturday.

With the victory Paes now has the coveted Australian Open trophy too in his cabinet.  He has previously won six Grand Slam doubles title.

Paesstill has a chance to add another Slam to his name as he is still in contention for the mixed doubles title along with his Russian partner Elena Vesnina.

Fifth seeded Paes and Vesnina will take on eighth seeds American Bethanie Mattek-Sands and Horia Tecau of Romania in the mixed doubles final on Sunday.
