Arsenal is all set to sell skipper Cesc Fabregas to Barcelona for 50 million pounds.
Boss Arsene Wenger looks to re-vamp his squad in his bid to end a drought of trophies that stretches back to May 2005 and Fabregas may well be just one of a cluster of players to go.
Wenger persuaded Fabregas to stay last summer despite persistent overtures from Barcelona, The Mirror reports.
If Barcelona now comes in with an offer for Fabregas that Arsenal finds difficult to resist, and the player makes it clear that he wants to return to Spain, Wenger is unlikely to stand in his way.
He will use the cash to supplement his transfer kitty, which is thought to be around 50 million pounds.
Wenger is also set to take a hard line with Gael Clichy and Samir Nasri.
Both will have just one year to run on their contracts, and Wenger plans to talk to their respective agents this week.
