In the wake of the deadly terror attack in Paris, sports events around the world paid tribute to the victims in a touching manner.
In the English Premier League, Liverpool's players were quick to credit manager Juergen Klopp's tactics after running out convincing 4-1 winners against Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium on Saturday.
Barcelona dealt a stinging blow to Real Madrid's title hopes when Luis Suarez and Neymar continued their scintillating form to fire the champions to a stunning 4-0 victory in the La Liga 'El Clasico'.
It was a fruitful week for India too as they spanked arch-rivals Pakistan 6-2 to clinch the eighth Junior Men's Asia Cup hockey tournament at the Wisma Belia Stadium, in Kuantan, Malaysia, on Sunday.
