World Swimming Championships
30-year-old Jenny Thompson won the Gold medal in the women's 100m butterfly at the 10th FINA Swimming World Championships, Barcelona on Monday. She won in 57.96 seconds, a world championship record.
"If you'd asked when I was young if I'd still be swimming at 30, I'd have said no way," Thompson said. "I've got a really crowded schedule. I'm very excited about the fact I am the woman who has won the most medals (11) in the World Championships."
