The Australian Open
Andre Agassi has proved to be more resilient than anyone would have thought. At 33, he is still capable of winning big tournaments and only a fool would count him out.
His movement across the court, the angles he finds and his return of serve have consistently seen him win against younger, faster opponents. He started the year with a bang, defeating Rainer Schuettler in straight sets 6-2, 6-2, 6-1 to win his fourth Australian Open and eighth Grand Slam singles title.
